Nau mai haere mai,

Welcome to Kaitoke School, Whanganui.

Kaitoke School is situated just 5kms from the edge of the city of Whanganui on Concord Line. We cater for students from Year 0 to Year 8 in our quiet rural setting where kids can climb trees, swim in our own pool and learn in small classes with fabulous teachers and support staff who work hard for our students. Click on Contact Us to find us on a map.

Our school has a long and proud history and we celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2013.  Our school is very well supported by our school community, and we are still going strong!  We live by our school values and care for each other just as a large family would.

We are part of the Whanganui East Rural Schools Cluster of 6 schools.  Our cluster works together to hold many different types of events for our students.  Our Year 7 and 8 students participate in the Tuia Leadership Challenge that involves a number of activities during the year.
